If you love sushi, these easy nori wraps are for you. They taste amazing, are super easy to make & are a GREAT snack or light lunch.
As an added bonus, for those who want to keep their thyroid in check, nori nutrients are full of calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, zinc, and iodine which is especially important for thyroid health.
Chili Almond Cream:
2 oz tamari
2 oz fresh lime juice
1/2 cup almond butter
1/2 cup cashews, soaked
1/2 tsp chili flake
1 tbsp ginger, grated
1 1/2 tbsp agave or coconut nectar
1 tsp sesame oil
Blend all ingredients on high until fully incorporated. Add purified water as needed 1 tbsp at a time until desired consistency is reached.
Prepare a grain of choice; quinoa, brown rice, sorghum, buckwheat etc.
Julienne vegetables of choice (examples include red and yellow pepper, carrot, cucumber, avocado)
Purple cabbage, fine shred
Depending on your appetite, you could certainly make more additional toppings into the mix if you like.
